Two Years of Courage and Solidarity: Upholding Ukraine’s Fight for Democracy and Sovereignty

Today marks the two-year anniversary of Russia’s full-scale war in Ukraine, a day starting an escalation of the Ukrainian people’s horrific trials and their unparalleled courage, and also an attack against the international rules based order and democracy.

On this significant day, it’s crucial to acknowledge that the assault traces back over a decade with the attempt to control the Ukrainian government and the illegal annexation of Crimea in 2014.

Aware of the importance to act, Doing Good has launched several projects aimed at assisting Ukraine and its citizens. Our initiatives include providing paid job opportunities, free IT courses, integration into the Swedish labour market, and Build Forward, a network designed to organise initiatives and resources to support Ukrainian refugees and the reconstruction of the country. Through this work we have witnessed incredible examples of courage and cooperation, affirming that both big and small actions to aid are valuable.

Each of us can do our part to support Ukraine – through donations, educational projects or by spreading awareness.

We continue to stand by Ukraine’s side and democracy and contribute to the pursuit of a peaceful future.
